The Forbidden Hunting Grounds, or sometimes Forbidden Forest, is an old growth forest adjacent to the City of Longdawn. Like its name implies, it has long been off-limits to the common populace - serving only as the leisure hunting grounds of a select few in the archduchy’s hierarchy. Its mysterious nature and yet ever-present view has put it at the centre of a lot of myth and rumour-mongering, with many speculating about horrible monsters, cults, dark magics and breaches in reality hidden just beyond the visible canopy.
