In certain parts of the world Saints are worshipped either as deific figures in themselves, or as conduits or icons of deities. Most known for this is the region of Ferweth, which often has different patron saints for each settlement depending on its historical and local monstrous threats. As an example, the settlement of Twinberry has been known to plead to Saint Jonathan for protection against creatures weak to silver.
