The Mad Castle is a castle in inland Heroa of Canath famous for repeatedly falling to various monsters such as Undead, and has due to the strong superstitions around it eventually been abandoned to whichever monsters, bandits or barbarians dare to claim it. Heroes are occasionally sent by neighbouring city states to clear it when it begins to pose a threat - and some have called for the need to destroy the whole thing for everyone’s sake.
