Overview
Awakened Animals are what were once animals whom have somehow permanently gained sapience and became as people. This is in contrast to Spirits who might take animal-like forms or temporarily inhabit animal bodies. Awakened Animals can be created by Druids, Wizards or other spellcasters, but remain rather rare. They are much more common as characters in stories.
