A condition found so far exclusively in the Paradox Area, described by Magnus Strike in his journals about the incident. Symptoms include burns on the skin and insides after a considerable length of time in the area, mitigated by thick clothing.
The burns are substantially more severe when bursting a “pocket” of disturbed energy, exploding and covering nearby people with increase radiation. These “pockets” are physical, able to be disturbed by wind and caught on trees, but only detectable through detection magic, as they are invisible to the naked eye.
Bringing a mage is simultaneously a risk and a nigh requirement for dealing with areas affected with spellburn.
