The Forbidden Coast, or the Forbidden Province of Canath, is an area to the west of the Painted Province of Canath. It has dubiously been attached to the geographic and cultural region of Canath through a number of incursions and smaller attempts at settlement, but has gained its forbidden moniker through the variety of failures these have met. It can also be considered a part of Far Ferweth, which includes much geography and many tribes which are still not well known.
Those Canathis which do operate in the Forbidden Coast often come from or are in close contact with Painted Canath, as well as Monastery Canath across the Celtix Channel.
