The Iron Lotus is broadly considered to be the main leader or figurehead of the Crusaders. As a living Saint she is famously very stoic and speaks with great authority, and is considered to have a calming presence on those around her. Some of the predominant interpretations of the New Creed consider the Iron Lotus both a child and mother of destiny, claiming she will usher in the end of the Great Silence.
Her origins are not oft discussed, but she is likely formerly from Philosophia. Some say she left the city as a young lady as a result of the Tower Hostage Crisis.
She signed the Truth Concord, bringing in worshippers of the Daydreaming Truth under the broad umbrella of the Crusader cause (despite their deity not being a Titan Template).
