Old Nightjar is a retired knight, and despite his advanced age, a current hunter and survivalist. He specialises in hunting the Undead. He has ventured far from his home of Canath, ending up in Horiza.

Old Nightjar was once a highly ranking knight from Canath in his youth, but faced the wrath of a certain faction after accidentally exposing their intense use of Necromancer. He since had to flee and go low-profile to disappear from those who’d have his head on a wall. His journey started with him trying to hide in Vön early on, where he met the Silver Hopefuls, but he had to keep going. He has on his long journey to Horiza met the Witch in Yellow, whom he has become a trusted companion of.
