The Sacred Path, also known as the Bronze Canal, is a marvel of Engineering that creates a narrow waterway between eastern Canath that reaches into the Galaen Wilds of Galae. It is narrow, and demands the use of various cranes and water locks, but it bypasses the need to ascend the many steps of the Path of Gold.
On the path are a handful of Monasteries which maintain it, and who make up a place to stop for shelter and rest. This practical arrangement also became a rather religious one, as performing a pilgrimage along the path and contributing to its maintenance became a sign of religious duty.
