The Scar is a geographic feature and landmark that separates western Galae from eastern Galae and Mogxa, most often referring to the Scar Lake at its centre. North and south of the lake itself are the two only land passageways between the regions, of high importance to the Eternal Crusade. Around the lake itself are various geographic anomalies and rugged terrain.
The Scar is central to the folklore and historical teachings of most peoples whom have lived in Galae. Many traditions tell of it being older than history, whereas others claim it was created by the carelessness or arrogance of the Hightower Elves.
