General Architrave was an old hobgoblin commander of Crusaders that helped oversee recent moves in Nagonkor and Galae, including taking over the March of the Corpse Flowers. He was ultimately tried for massive crimes of corruption and sentenced to death by hanging. His crimes were initially brought to light by the secretive Moonless Night.

Before his death the general put together the plans for Operation Blackout, sending his half-brother Doctor Hallan Aerf to oversee the mission’s success in his absence. This plan was ultimately thwarted by Bande Aparte, a former subordinate of his he punished for almost uncovering his corruption. Likewise, the Moonless Night was lead by Lykas, a trusted companion of Bande Aparte that Architrave thought he had had assassinated in a false-flag attack.

His family was supposedly descendant from the mythical sling-hero Yvawel.
