Valfrid was an Amurrun adventurer that made a name for himself, especially as he became known as “The Herō of Friedport.” In Friedport, he became an icon of the Landcrab and guildsmen alike. He would marry Ragnil Veldaks, and take her last name as he did. One famous adventure of his resulted in a Cloud Dragon swearing its eternal loyalty to his house (see Veldaks Dragon), becoming a guardian of their manor on Everdry Isle.
As an amurrun, Valfrid had Amurrun Markings of an enormous wooden tower on his back. The city would eventually construct this tower in his honour. Mag Gafn had taken credit for its architecture, but was revealed as a fraud.
He was known for wielding a firearm powered or enhanced by a fire elemental (which would later end up in the hands of The Prince, whom claims to be his bastard child).
