Rune-crafting is a type of Artifice that empower objects, usually weapons and armour, using a form of magic based on language.
In Iduria it has traditionally been based on Fenrunr, Skald and dwarven traditions. Upon the discovery of Horiza and the Horizan Precursors ruins, a number of uses of runic magic were also found. These usually came with Rune Presses, engineering marvels that could quickly apply runic magic of a specific template upon providing its materials.
