The Flock of Man refers to a prehistorical unit whose goal was to unify the people of Materia. Before this, the people of the world were scattered, tribal and nomadic. However, under the banner of a series of leaders said to start with the First Ascended and end with the Icen Maiden, the Flock of Man traversed the world whilst both peacefully and with force taking upon itself the peoples it came across. It was under the leadership of the Icen Maiden the Flock of Man is said to had reached its zenith, after which it founded the “Universal City of Mankind” - Philosophia. It is said that the Flock’s passed through Vön’s Silver Pass (as well as Galae) on its way to found the universal city in Mogxa.
