A natural or magical catastrophe in which much of the lands of Sergetis, the southernmost peninsula of Mogxa, sank into the sea. These lands contained much history as the historical homelands of the Dragons of the Draconic Empire, still home to many of Mogxa’s Draconic Tribes at the time. Many of the survivors vacated to other parts of Mogxa or beyond in fear, though the sinking did leave behind some landmass now forming the island chain of Sergetis.
Much of Sergetine and Draconic Imperial history now lies at the sea floor of famously dangerous and sometimes shark-infected waters. One tradition which was essentially destroyed was Sergetine Theatre, as essentially all of its theatres and Sergetine Statues were taken by the sinking. The now-sunken cities and ruins of Sergetine are sometimes called Sergetine by those who attempt to dive to and explore it.
The sinking has been explained by some as a Disaster of the Silence, essentially blaming it upon the Sanitorium as divine retribution for their part in exiling the Titans.
