Sergetis is the name of a peninsula and its coastline and immediately adjacent islands, forming a Crescent-like shape at the southern tip of Mogxa. Sergetis is the traditional homelands of Dragons, and was home to the Draconic Empire - alternatively called the Sergetine Empire. The peninsula is today home to most of the Draconic Tribes still remaining.
The landmass used to be larger, but about 1/3rd of it sank into the sea during the Sinking of Sergetis, sometimes hailed as the largest Disaster of the Silence. The sinking saw many casualties and even more people leaving the peninsula altogether. A number of migrants left for Lorgun, which is already populated by a community with roots in Sergetis.
The Sergetine coastal waters, also sometimes called the “Mouth of Mogxa,” are turbulent and shark-infested. It is home to various submerged ruins since the sinking, which some brave adventurers and archaeologists have attempted to dive.
While the Dragons were infamous abroad, the peninsula itself was a peaceful and flourishing centre of culture, seeing many visitors from abroad seeking to experience and learn from its traditions. One particularly proud piece of Sergetine culture was its theatre - often outshining the at the time decaying city of Philosophia’s.
