The Sanitorium is the government of the Principalities of Mogxa, founded by the victorious anti-deist faction of the War Over Haeven. Those in or near the government, or whom are heavily aligned with their cause, can be called Sanitationists. The Sanitorium have remained in varying states of conflict with the Crusaders since, as part of the Eternal Crusade.

This state was founded on the grounds of the recently collapsed Kobold Empire, and therefore also takes much of its traditions from the Draconic Empire that preceded the kobolds and the Draconic Tribes of Mogxa that play an important role in Mogxa. The government was formed by its founding purpose as an anti-deist faction, and has had the worship of Titans and most types of Icons outlawed throughout its history.

The Sanitorium really consists of a number of bodies, but power is most concentrated with two whom often meet together - the Philosophers of the Round and the Knights of the Round. The Philosophers are a collegiate of learned men chosen for their wisdom and abilities of governance, however popular or not they may be. They are each accompanied by Knight of the Round, which serve as their bodyguards, and sometimes the messengers and enforcers of their philosopher’s decrees. Regional and local governance is varied across the country, and has a mixture of Lords, Governors and Tribal Patriarchs - though these are collectively known as Princes.

The Sanitorium exerts considerable influence, and most of the other states of Mogxa are Feudalism of the Sanitorium. The Sanitorium is also increasingly involved in directing the Horizan Guild Association, especially since many Crusader-aligned Canathi began to leave the guild in protest. Another important point of leverage over the guild is that the Sanitationist-controlled port of Singsong has become the HGA’s most used departure port towards Horiza.
