Branxi, also known as the Branx Steppe, is a region on the western edge of the Mogxan March connecting the Mogxa to core Mogxa. It skirts the areas between Bluff Galae in Eastern Galae, the Mogxan steppe around the Young Bluff and the Zardoban Desert - all rather sparsely populated. Branxi was always an area primarily settled by nomads throughout its pre-Mogxan history, so its settlements are today almost purely Mogxan. An influx of Galaens have arrived more recently, however.
Trade that comes from the Ivory Road and through the Heavenly Wall, as well as that coming from Cragmoore, all usually passes through Branxi.
