Sharghei’s Landing, also known as just Sharghei, is a large settlement on the northern coast of the Celene of Canath, which dominates the western edge of the Painted Province. The settlement is named after its semi-mythical founder, a hero that invented strange flying wings he crossed the Celene with against all expectations.
Sharghei enjoys a bit of a rivalry with Twinvale, which rules the eastern edge of the Painted Province. The central settlement of Aramtun is often drawn into this rivalry. Sharghei’s Landing enjoys a sizeable population of Amurrun for Canath, just as Aramtun does.
Up the mountainside wilds to the west lies the castle-town of Fort Kiltox, which is staffed by many from Sharghei’s Landing.
