Perhaps the most infamous soldiers of the anti-titan armies of the War Over Haeven, the Demonic Brigade eventually got trapped in the plane of Crimson where they now fight the Devil Queen’s armies as literal Demons.
History
During the War Over Haeven, the Demonic Brigade earned their name from horrific acts of violence against their enemies, their prisoners of war and the civilians whose territories they passed through. Towards the end of the war, they were lured into the north Galaen desert by the Guardian Angel of Heaven. Turning out to be a trap, she carved a scar in the desert which ate most of the soldiers, and most of the remaining worn out and fleeing solders shot. Falling through into the newly created plane of Crimson, a number of the demonic brigade survived and retreated into its desert. There, they would become actual demons and fight the devils of the Guardian Angel turned Devil Queen. This has been dubbed the newest Bloodwar. Some blame the Demonic Brigade for the Blood Storms that pass through parts of Iduria, speculated to steal away people to serve as reinforcements to their ranks.
The demonic brigade was forgotten and disowned by many in the successful armies which would become the Sanitorium. Some more infamous and warlike figures, however, have claimed the Brigade was essential and effective, and that they were to be emulated. Some claim the Knights of the Round have learned from the Demonic Brigade’s tactics.
Some Crusaders have argued for a making a Helmarch, that is to say an armed march into Crimson (a plane of Hel), to help eradicate the Demonic Brigade once and for all.
Famously wears the tattered remnant uniforms of the Draconic Legions.
