Overview
Vanara are a people with a monkey-like appearance, which usually lives in closed-off communes in isolated places practicing the arts and monasticism. They share a common ancestor with the Hobgoblins, which served as servants of the Hightower Civilisation - the Vanara today consider themselves the inheritors of the best of Elven culture, which they use to continue to honour the Creator Monkey they resemble. They maintain a rivalry with hobgoblins to this day.
Those born to a hobgoblin and a Vanara may form a Hobbner (a Half-Hobgoblin). This is generally considered taboo amongst both of said ancestries.
