A red strix bard that is as famous for his charisma and performances as he is infamous for his rebellious and violent history. Starting his music career in Newshore, he played alongside Rex Stormwind and others in Underworld communities. Disillusioned with society and authority, and began making connections with Desecrator rebels. At some point in his life he made a Devil Deal with the Good Doctor, though the specifics are unknown. He would grow close to and work with the disgraced Princess Ionelle, whom had also made such a deal.
Cardinal, together with desecrators, was involved in the kidnapping of Bishop the Peacemaker, but were stopped just short of blowing up a glacier over Newshore by Bishop’s Disciples. Bishop did however die in the incident, leading Cardinal and Ionelle to be kept in the disciple’s custody for a while after. Eventually however, they were both released.
After being released, Cardinal Rackawn found his way to Friedport, where he had not yet made an audience. Here he sought to meet the former disciple Louen Leonceur, before he learned he had recently passed. Perhaps feeling like he owed a debt, Cardinal chose to help the The Landcrab Plot that had just lost their teammate. In doing so, he helped bring an end to the Landcrab Plot, and also won great fame as a loud and boisterous solo competitor at the Summer Games.
Cardinal is nowadays believed to be travelling with Gator Grippli and Princess Ionelle.
