Small ancestries, particularly Gnomes, Halflings and Dwarves, have in Celene city states and surrounding parts of Canath formed a number of guilds dedicated to their collective well-being as someone who all (at least once) constituted significant minorities that were trampled on by other citizens. These guilds have been called Small Folk Guilds, though have also been shortened to just “The Small Guilds” or “Folk Guilds” over time. They have over the years created long-lasting business and passed down much expertise down, making them often the best source of craftsmen and other specialised forms of knowledge.
These guilds have contributed to a common perception that small folk are meant for thinking and commanding, while big folk are meant for Labour and War - commonly recited by the Kobolds of Mogxa.
