Magic is a force of the universe which encompasses everything in various forms, and acts as an energy or charisma that moves and thereby affects various parts or personalities that make up the world. Seen as an essential building block of existence, the study of the nature of magic is also heavily intertwined with Cosmology, and vice versa. The Orcs see magic as another side of the same coin as Time, and often refer to it as Magic-Time.
Magic is usually understood and practiced in four distinct but overlapping traditions - that being Arcane Magic, Occult Magic, Divine Magic and Primal Magic. One classification describes them as covering the fields of Energy, Matter, Mind and Spirit.
Wielders of magic are called spellcasters and methods by which they wield magic can infinitely vary. Be it how they draw magic broadly, ranging from Wizards and Sorcerers, to Bards and Clerics, or the particular methodology such as Essence Casting and Elementalism.
