The weak remains of the Draconic Empire of Mogxa after the Draconic Concordat dissolved the empire and prevented dragons from reproducing.

Kobolds, not having the longevity of Dragons, invented many of the life-extending rituals that today have contributed to the Diamond Crisis.

The Kobolds once tried to invade and subjugate Philosophia, ending in a humiliating defeat for them. While an agreement was reached due to Philosophians desiring food transfers and freedom to travel and trade again, the Philosophians had renewed their culture of independence and weakened the kobold throne as a result.

The Kobold Throne’s rule was interrupted by God-King Idur conquest of the realm. However, having maintained most of the bureaucracy, the Kobolds merely took charge again once Idur decided to vanish.

The late kobold throne was especially weak, and became increasingly unpopular even amongst its base as it had to keep putting down peasant revolts. It was in this state it met and failed to fend off the invading anti-titanic army of the War Over Haeven. Not long after this, the invading army destroyed the Rainbow Bridge hidden in its territory, and, being stationed around Philosophia, decided to take over the Kobold Throne and establish the Sanitorium.
