The Imperial City was once the capital and court of the Western Kobold Dynasty, before their defeat by the Sanitorium which is now mainly based up the road to the Sophine Hills. The Imperial City remains a bustling city full of culture, tradition and arts, and is especially important to Kobolds as well as some amount of Dragonbloods associated or not with the Draconic Tribes. The city is surrounded my an enormous mass of farmlands, which is essential to feeding the Mega-City of Philosophia to the north.
The city has gained a number of other nicknames since it ceased being the seat of the Empire, though none have decisively won out yet. It is common to joke about the irony of the “Imperial City with no Empire.”
The Imperial City’s citizens once wielded a total monopoly over access to and hunting in the Imperial Estates, though this has been loosening up (much to the local’s dismay). The coastal city of Kathayle lies to the south, tying Imperial Mogxa to the ocean of the Mouth of Mogxa.
