The Rend is the northernmost section of the Rubyfirth Sea, and is named so for the belief that this once consisted of land which was sliced apart in a great conflict. The island of Regal lies to its west, which is home to peoples of Nagonkor as well as a number of Crusaders.
The Rend Peoples are named after this sea.
